"Technology instead of chemicals" - true to this motto, the Antersdorfer Mühle relies on traditional milling craftsmanship paired with high technology. On 27 April 2023, Europe's most modern organic mill officially opened its new building in the Waltersdorf industrial estate in the town of Simbach am Inn. BHS Control Systems designed and implemented the complete control technology for the new building.

"We are proud that we were able to support the new building of the Antersdorfer Bio-Mühle with state-of-the-art control technology," commented Thomas Schön, Head of Electrical and Automation Engineering, BHS Control Systems, on the opening. The Antersdorfer Mill has a long tradition: founded in 1884, the mill owned by the Priemeier family has been producing exclusively organically since the 1970s. Since then, the family has continuously built the Antersdorfer Mühle into a brand and expanded. In June 2016, the historic mill fell victim to a flood disaster - the Priemeier family decided to build a new mill in the nearby Waltersdorf industrial estate.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new mill building was held in May 2020. On Thursday last week, the opening ceremony took place. Among the guests on site as brand ambassadors were sprinter and triple medallist Anna Burghardt, Anton Schmaus, chef of the German national football team, Klaus Augenthaler, football world champion 1990 and Martin Huber (Secretary General of the CSU). BR presenter Tilman Schöberl hosted the evening.
